Meet The Team At Hobby Horse

Horses have been a part of Amanda's life for as long as she can remember.  Amanda was born to an avid equestrian and started her horsey journey before she could even walk.  The equestrian world has been a wonderful place to grow up and she is happy to call it home now. Amanda rides her gelding at FEI levels and is an active competitor in the Dressage community. Coaching many riders and horses through the levels, Amanda is well known throughout the community for her encouraging and positive attitude. 

Over the years Amanda has had a great opportunity to grow and learn as she has developed her own background as a Dressage trainer.  Today, Amanda is happy to have the opportunity to pass along the knowledge that her background and expertise has provided her.

Raised in Colorado, Michelle fell in love with horses and specifically the sport, Eventing.  She has competed up to the FEI levels on her mare, whom she brought along as a 2-year old.  Always curious, she continues to always learn new training techniques to improve her teaching and riding.  Michelle has competed and cross trained in Hunters, Equitation, Jumpers and Dressage to broaden and improve her riding and horsemanship skills.  She does well with green and high-strung horses and has a calm way around them.  For more information on Michelle's training and teaching philosophy, you can visit her website at www.mmeventing.com
